Join us for a medicinal plant walk. Meet at the Newton Public Library. Call the library to register 604-598-7406.
A community member from the Katzie First Nation will share teachings on native and medicinal plants used by her ancestors on this land. Her talk will be followed by a visit to the PLOT.
We are reminded to walk slow, be mindful, and learn what it means to be stewards of the land.
