Equinox Celebration, Sept 23

FALL EQUINOX CEREMONY AT THE NEWTON MEDICINE WHEEL
Sunday September 23, Noon to 3pm

Please join us for an Autumn Equinox at the Medicine Wheel with Cree Elder Grandma Amy*,
followed by Pot Luck in Room #4 in the Ice Arena Building.

It will be a time of marking the seasonal change, visiting, relaxing, enjoying the garden and being part of the community!

Candace Brown Bear Woman and other guests will be joining us.

WHAT TO BRING: Plate, Cutlery, Mug, Something to Share, Drum or Rattle etc or a Quote if you wish.

PLEASE DRESS FOR WEATHER and bring a lawn chair if you need to sit during the ceremony.

This is a Free Family and Community Event. Please feel free to share and or invite others.

*SPECIAL NOTE: Grandma Amy is inviting attendees to explore how their own ancestors might have lived in a good way with Mother Earth, how it was integrated into daily lives and how events like Solstice and Equinox might have been celebrated. Contributions Welcome.
